Private-Pay Occupational Therapy For Adults
Occupational therapy focuses on everyday participation: working, managing your home, caring for yourself, connecting with others, and making time for rest. When attention, sensory needs, or daily demands get in the way, we look at what makes an activity difficult and what could make it more manageable.
What We Can Work On
Planning, sequencing, and getting started on everyday tasks.
Building routines for self-care, home responsibilities, and work.
Adapting tasks and environments around sensory needs.
Managing energy, transitions, and competing daily demands.
Responding to frustration and overwhelm during meaningful activities.
Evaluation And Treatment
We begin with an evaluation of your priorities, routines, strengths, and functional challenges. This may include discussing your daily activities, observing relevant tasks, and using assessment tools selected for your needs. Together, we use the findings to identify goals and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Sessions may involve practicing an activity, adapting your environment, or trying a routine between appointments. For example, we might examine why meal preparation becomes overwhelming and adjust the sequence, setup, or level of support. This is an example of the work, not a promised outcome.
Support Shaped Around You
My approach respects your autonomy, communication preferences, and sensory needs. Mindfulness can be included when helpful, with options such as movement, brief pauses, or eyes-open practice. It is never a requirement.
